INDICATIONS

VITADROP™ is a medical device indicated for people suffering from variousSymptoms of dry eye which manifest as visual fatigue, tightness, stinging, burning sensation and/or tearing.

VITADROP™ contains essential components naturally present on the surface of the eye and in tears, including sodium hyaluronate, which has moisturizing properties, as well as nutrients and electrolytes (such as potassium, magnesium, sodium, and calcium). PEG 8000 is an additional humectant that prolongs the duration of hydration.

The combination of all the components of VITADROP™ provides alasting reliefand oneprotection against dry eyesVITADROP™ is hypotonic, and relieves symptoms by helping to restore the physiological osmotic balance of the tear film and ocular surface.

Vitamin B12 gives VITADROP™ its pink color, which disappears quickly when blinking.It does not stain clothes or contact lenses..

VITADROP™ iscompatible with all types of contact lensessoft and hard lenses. The solution can be instilled while wearing them for a significant improvement in lens comfort throughout the day.

Mode d'emploi

Instill one drop of Vitadrop™ into the eye 3 to 5 times a day, or more frequently if needed. You can use Vitadrop™ every day and as often as desired. There is no time limit for use.

Precaution for use

Clean your hands before use. Remove the protective cap from the bottle nozzle before each use. Make sure not to touch the nozzle with your fingers.

Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull down your lower eyelid with a finger of your free hand. Hold the bottle vertically above your eye with the tip pointing downwards. Apply one drop. Avoid touching the tip to your eyes or fingers to minimize the risk of contaminating the solution.

Replace the cap on the bottle after each use.

Conservation advice

Store at a temperature between +2°C and +25°C and protect from light.

Legal denomination

Vitadrop™, a reimbursed medical device. Reimbursement is available for the symptomatic treatment of dry eye with keratitis or dry eye as a third-line treatment after failure of low-viscosity tear substitutes and gels (carbomers). Vitadrop™ is not indicated for use in patients who wear contact lenses. Prescribing and usage instructions: Prescription by an ophthalmologist after diagnosis of keratitis or dry eye, specifically by a colorimetric test performed with a slit lamp. Initial prescription should not exceed 6 months of treatment. At the end of this period, reassessment by an ophthalmologist is recommended for possible prescription renewal.
